Have you ever been to etc.venues’ event space near Monument? If you’re City-based, the likelihood is you have, as the venue has proven highly popular among EC3’ers since opening in 2014.

The two-floor venue is planning to expand to another two floors, and it will appeal to hip, yuppie millennials so much only an Instagram post on avocadoes could surpass it.

The new space couldn’t be more 2018. One, its eclectic interiors will include glass walls and be inspired by nature. Two, there’ll be a central communal hub and kitchen ‘designed to motivate’ featuring pantry tables, relaxed seating areas and device charging facilities (think desk-hopping/shared working space vibes). And three, a range of board games, complimentary soft drinks and ‘help yourself’ pick & mix sweets will be on offer.

But the insane hipster twist isn’t all that’s exciting about the extension. The self-contained collaborative space will offer six experience rooms, which encourages creative learning. Meanwhile, the fourth floor will be home to an exclusive-use conference suite with a 150-capacity and an exhibition space. The fifth floor is the real gem, though, and is where you’ll find ‘The Brain Box’ (great views of London, helped by decorative lighting and large glass windows).

The new event spaces are scheduled to open in autumn this year, so keep your eyes peeled for a launch date. In the meantime, you can get in touch with the events team by clicking on the button below, for the chance to be one of the first ones to explore the venue.
