Michelin-starred restaurant Angler has long been a high-rise, fine-dining institution in London, and fish and seafood lovers come from far and wide to enjoy executive chef Gary Foulkes peerless cooking. Not only that, Angler's fantastic location on the seventh floor of the South Place Hotel makes it a beautiful event space too - not only does that lofty spot provide lovely views across Central London, it also provides ample natural light, making the restaurant bright, spacious and perfect for a variety of private events.
There are a number of private hire spaces within the hotel, but if it's Angler that specifically takes your fancy, you have a number of options. Many of those who come here to enjoy the food as well as the ambiance head to Angler's chef's table, called 'The Chef's View', as it has it's own private panoramic window into the kitchen, so you can get up close and personal with the action. The Chef's View is available to hire for private events too - it seats up to 14 guests, and boasts stunning views over the City of London.
Angler's terrace also proves popular with events planners - this rooftop terrace with its own bar is a real hidden gem, with equally fantastic vistas. In the summer, the terrace is a fantstic place to soak up some afternoon sun surrounded by lavender and olive trees, but it's also heated and covered thanks to a retractable roof, so it's just as enjoyable in the winter. The terrace is available to hire independently, or in conjunction with exclusive hire of the entire restaurant, which has capacity for around 200 standing guests.
Angler's menus are a big draw, but the kitchen team can cook up a wide range of different menus to suit your event, from canapes to bowl food, set menus or a full tasting menu for your lucky guests.
