White port has been having a moment for a couple of years now, and the 'P&T' makes a refreshing, lower-alcohol alternative to a G&T. Enjoy the fresh fruit flavours, complex nuttiness and dry peppery finish of this delicious and perfectly balanced drink. 

Taylor’s was the first Port House to pioneer dry white aperitif Port in 1934 and it has been served as a refreshing long drink in Portugal for decades. Traditionally they serve it with a slice of lemon, a sprig of fresh mint and ice.

Ingredients

50ml Taylor’s Chip Dry White Port
100ml Fever Tree Tonic
Twist of orange peel and mint to garnish

Method

Add your measure of Taylor's Chip Dry White Port to a chilled glass

Mix two parts tonic (Fever-Tree for preference) to one part white port

Add plenty of ice and stir lightly

Squeeze the orange slice a bit into the drink and add a sprig of bruised mint.  If you are serving this at lunchtime, maybe add some lime slices as well to help freshen up your drink
